“This was the perfect tranquil spot for my family of four. We are so lucky to have picked such a relaxing place after a three-week island-hopping adventure. We have two children (11 and 7) who loved diving off the diving board every morning and playing badminton in the early evenings. The views of the sunset are amazing; the pictures don’t do it justice because it is spectacular. Sandra’s garden is beautiful. We walked around in the mornings to admire the fruit and see if there were any ripe ones for breakfast. The outdoor kitchen takes a second to get used to (gas stove, yes!!!), but it was so lovely to sit outside and have our breakfast and dinner with the sun rising and setting before our eyes. The location is ideal: we were very close to the Kona airport, all the best beaches, great food markets, the national parks, and it almost never rained here. It would rain on our ride back to the house, and when we got there, it was most always sunny and bright around us. Sandra was quick with communication, and we had great WiFi service, even out at the pool. Thank you for letting us take part of the “real” Kailua-Kona. We hope to visit again.
